It is produced from the blend of the best Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The must and the marc are fermented together for a long time, and the wine is left in barrels made of French wood for some months before it is ready to drink, and then bottled. The result is a wine of great character, full-bodied and velvety, maturing and improving with age; the nuances of wild berries coming from grapes combinate with the tannin and the scent of vanilla so typical of ageing in wood. Ideal with grilled meats or game.
